I love bagels and I don't like the ones they sell at the grocery stores where I live. Here is a vegan oil -free bagel recipe for you to make at home and enjoy whenever you want!
Ingredients:
7 cups self-rising flour
2 1/2 cups warm water
3 tbsp sugar
3 tsp salt
2 tbsp active dry yeast
Procedure
1. Add the sugar into warm water and dissolve. Mix in the yeast and let activate for 10 minutes
2. In a big bowl mix flour and salt.
3. Once the yeast is activated pour it into the bowl with the flour. Combine the ingredients and knead the dough for about 10 minutes.
4. Put the dough back in the bowl cover it with plastic wrap and a towel. Let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until the dough doubles in size.
5. Divide the though into 16 equal pieces and form them into bagels by making balls and poking a hole in the middle.
6. Boil each bagel for about a minute on each side and place them on a baking tray. Sprinkle bagels with sesame and chia seeds and bake for 15 minutes at 425 ºF or 220 ºC until they are golden brown.
These veggie burgers are delicious, healthy, full of fiber and good carbs!
Ingredients:
1 can chickpeas (Rinsed)
1 cup finely chopped spinach
1/4 small onion finely minced
1 tsp tahini
1/2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp bread crumbs
Salt to taste
Procedure:
1. Sautee spinach and onion in a pan and reserve.
2. Mash chickpeas and with a potato masher. Add in the sautéed spianch and onion along with the rest of the ingredients and continue to mash until all the ingredients are throughly combined.
3. Form patties. (I used a round cookie cutter to shape them into perfect circles but they don't need to be perfect!)
4. Heat up a skillet and cook your patties until for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
5. Serve in a bun or how ever you like!
Hamburgesas Veganas de Garbanzo
Ingredientes:
1 Lata de Garbanzos (previamente enjuagados y escurridos)
1 taza de espinaca finamente cortada
1/4 de cebolla chica finamente cortada
1 cdita de tahini
1/2 cdita de pimenton dulce
1 cda. de pan rallado
Sal
Preparación:
1. Saltear la espinaca y la cebolla en una sartén y reservar.
2.Pisar los garbanzos con un pisa papas hasta que queden casi como puré. Añadir la cebolla y espinaca salteada junto con el resto de los ingrediente e incorporar.
3. Formar hamburguesas. (yo usé un cortante de galletitas redondo para formar circulos, pero no es necesario)
4. Calentar una sartén y cocinar las hamburguesas por aproximadamente 3 minutos de cada lado o hasta que estén doradas.
5. Servir con pan o como más te guste
These good for you strawberry popsicles are one of my favorite desserts for the summer, of course you can have them in winter if you want!. They are packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants!
Ingredients: (4 popsicles)
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 cup full fat coconut milk
Procedure:
1. Place all the strawberries in a food processor and whirl until you get a sorbet like consistency. Then pour about a spoonful of it in each mould and leave it in the freezer.
2. Add a tbsp of the coconut milk in the food processor bowl and whirl again until the strawberries and coconut milk are combined. Then again pour a tablespoon of the mixture in each mould and leave them in the freezer.
3. Add the remaining coconut milk in the food processor and whirl one more time until everything is combined. Divide the mixture into each mould.
4. Let it set in the fridge for about 30 minutes before inserting wooden sticks into each popsicle mould and then continue to freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Estos helados de frutilla son buenos para vos. Gracias a sus ingredientes, están llenos de vitaminas, minerales y antioxidantes! Son ideales para el verano pero si te gustan los postres fríos también los podes hacer en Invierno!
Ingredientes (4 helados)
1 taza de frutillas congeladas.
1/4 taza de leche de coco. (La venden en lata en dietéticas)
Procedimiento:
1. Poner las frutillas en la procesadora y procesar hasta obtener una consistencia como de granita. Colocar aproximadamente una cucharada en cada molde y llevar al freezer unos minutos.
2. Agregar a la procesadora 1 cucharada de leche de coco y seguir procesando hasta que se integren bien los dos ingredientes. Verter una cucharada de la mezcla en cada molder y volver a llevar al freezer por unos minutos más.
3. Añadir a la procesadora la leche de coco restante y procesar hasta combinar bien los ingredientes y distribuir toda la mezcla entre los moldes.
4. Llevar al freezer por unos 30 minutos e insertar los palitos de madera. Luego freezar por al menos 4 horas más antes de desmoldar.
If you know me, or have been following my Instagram for a while you know how much I love avocados and how I can sneak them into almost every dish I make. After trying different ways to make hummus I came up with my favorite recipe, I hope you like it. This Hummus is oil free! and tastes amazing. The avocado in it makes it super rich and creamy :)
Ingredients:
1/2 Avocado
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 ts paprika
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp tahini
Procedure:
Combine all the ingredients in the blender or food processor until you get a smooth consistency and eat eat it with anything you want! I had mine with cucumber I think it's a great combination.
Hummus de palta
Ingredientes:
1/2 palta
1 lata de gabanzos (previamente enjuagados y colados)
1/2 cdita de comino
1/2 cdita de pimentón dulce
2 cdas de agua
1 cdita de jugo de limón
1 cdita de tahini
Preparación:
Poner todos los ingredientes en una procesadora, y procesar hasta obtener una pasta suave y sin grumos.
Servir y comer con lo que quieras :)
Hummus y pepino es una muy buena combinación para el verano!
